That's the same storm we got up here. We've got around 6 or 7 inches. The kids went to school two hours late this morning because of the cold and then they didn't dismiss early. By the time we all went to pick up the kids at 3:30 the roads were a nightmare. We live outside the city limits (by like 30 feet) and they don't touch any of the roads past the county limit sign. The school is also outside those limits so everything was a mess. It sure is pretty though!!
what's the deal with these schools. they've delayed school the past two days because of cold, but not tomorrow. it's going to be just as cold and we've got 6 inches of snow on the ground. just doesn't make any sense. (i don't want to walk to the bus stop in the morning - really puts me in a bad mood when it's cold.)
We had a delay this morning. The boys were convinced that there wouldn't be any school, so the delay was rather disappointing for them. As bad as our roads still were, we probably should have been canceled, but everyone so far has been safe and no wrecks to or from school have been reported.
Someone finally did come thru our subdivision with their private plow several times and got the roads into fairly decent shape.

I was excited to get 2 inches that lasted 6 hours... I would love to get that much snow down here.
I'm glad em's head is healing so well.
yep, that must be the same front that brett was stuck going 5 mph in on the interstate in ohio. looks beautiful! cold, but beautiful.
