a return - 29 F
yes, that's right. it's 29 degrees here this morning. it's also snowing. light, tiny flakes that won't add up to anything but it's still snow. this weather is putting a damper on spring-break. "this is very strange. it's spring." - em
It's not so strange here. Just last week everyone in our little town was saying, "We still have Dogwood Winter to go". This happens just after the Dogwood trees bloom... which it did and is happening right now. I've also heard there's a blackberry winter, but I hope they're wrong. I'm not exactly sure how that one works. But Dogwood Winter has proven to be fairly reliable, much to my dismay.
We've had a couple inches of snow last night and probably another during the morning hours. By mid afternoon everything melted. All of my flowers are covered for the weekend since we are up in Kingsport. We will see what survives. Hope you all are having fun up there.
