i saw what appeared to be a cluster of tiny yellow eggs on a small branch of the birch tree today. i thought of you guys. instead of saving it in a box, i ripped the branch off and threw it on the sidewalk, in case it was eggs of something that might hatch and eat the tree. i'm hoping the rain we're supposed to get tomorrow will wash it far away.
