all is vanity in maddie's closet
maddie hid in her closet today in order to avoid her nap. when i found her and picked her up, she started touching all the clothes in the closet. she came across the dress she wore in a wedding in october and said with a radiant smile, "i pretty!" obviously her self concept is in tact even with the scar on her chin.

let her think she's pretty. if we could have more young girls who are satisfied with how they were created, more young women believing that beauty is in their hearts and heads, more mature ladies not cutting their faces and bodies in attempt to be prettier and thinner and just all-around more wonderful- i believe that girls and women and ladies would be a much more satisfied, peaceful, content group- making a greater difference in the world. ..... so off my soap box i come, just to say, let that sweet maddie believe she's "pitty"- because she is. :):):)
maddie is so pretty and so is emmy.
i mean rescuer. ( emmy typed rescuer all by herself.)

she still an animal rescuer? hmmmm. maybe she could be an animal trainer and teach my big brown baby some manners.
only if it pays well. she needs to be able to support us in our old age. :-)
