to clarify, em did not shoot herself with a staple gun. the doctor did that. she was spinning, lost her balance, and careened into the corner of a door frame.
she said , i'm going to take a break from spinning for a while."
she also wants to take a break from brushing her hair.

Did blood get everywhere?
I am so glad you clarified that. I thought she had actually shot herself. A few years ago, my D.K. pushed his older brother Prophet into the corner of a doorway and split his scalp open in the same spot. Talk about blood... good grief... it was a mess.... Prophet was actually calm thru it all. He reminds D.K. of this on a regular basis still!!
there was an incredible amount of blood! kids are so resiliant. lauren's hubby reminds my hubby of childhood incidents still. :-)
Okay, for my benefit, are your husbands brothers? I haven't quite made the connection yet. I apologize if it should be obvious.
Yep, crt's husband is my hubby and caslon's older brother. tech mom is their mom. they lived on a farm house in rural WI, so when farm wife tells her tales, i have a visual image of where they grew up... even though illinois is probably more flat than the rolling hills in SW WI.
